JOB PROFILE:
This position will be responsible for developing and managing the local IT Project Portfolio and processes. Aspects of which include; capturing internal customer needs, identifying solution options, ensuring the technology infrastructure and services are aligned with enterprise standards and meet internal customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Stakeholder & Business Management
Partners with client and IT Leadership to develop and implement Information technology strategic plan
Develops and implements organizations technology plan for Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Planning Support.
Analyzes and validates the companys business requirements for the specific application(s) requested.
Serves as a SIS/ERP Architectural liaison; working on behalf of Enterprise Architecture considering business, reporting, and customer needs, upstream and downstream impacts, and providing business with important information that will allow fully informed decisions to be made
Attends companys business process or policy-change meetings to analyze and advise the potential impacts from an SIS and project priority standpoint
Conducts periodic business and IT stakeholder meetings to review project status and opportunities for improvement
IT :
Managing IT Infrastructure, and Connectivity, including LAN/WAN, Internet connectivity; video communication systems etc.
IT Security Systems and Processes, their Implementation, Audits, Compliances, and Risk Management, to ensure safer and security IT working environment.
IT Assets management:
Evaluating, prudently selecting, and introducing new IT technologies.
Plan, implement, and ensure rapid Disaster Recovery and business continuity in case of any emergencies
Good understanding of Linux systems and management methodologies, including software packaging.
Experience with OpenStack, AWS, Azure or VMware
Strong experience with complex networks, perimeter security management and routing
Team Management :
Leading, guiding, coaching, and upgrading teams capabilities
Responsible for performance assessment and working with the team for creating growth plans.
Knowledge:
Experience of latest technologies and trends and proven track record of delivering appropriate technology solutions
Good understanding of IS concepts and practice, particularly those used within own organization concerning the systems development life cycle. Advanced level computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) as well as MS Project Server / Share Point
