We have been retained by an IT Products and Services MNC to hire Sr. HR Manager - Global Strategy (excluding North America for the time being).   Location : Koramangala, Bangalore.   Bangalore-based candidates having worked exclusively in HR Strategy areas only and with a background of full time MBA HR from top 20 Institutes, may please apply.   Immediate / ASAP joinees preferred.  - This is a purely strategic role and is possibly one of those next in line to move in to Head HR - Global position. This is NOT an Operational role and applicants with Operations background will not be preferred by the client.  - Talent Acquisition is NOT a part of your responsibilities as there is a separate Head of TA managing this, reporting in to Head HR.  - Master's level HR Qualification preferred.   - A minimum of 10 - 15 years of HR experience - the last few being in purely strategic roles, preferred.   - Minimum / No travel needed. Will be based out of the Koramangala, Bangalore office.  - An understanding of organizational and people dynamics and the ability to think strategically and 'on the ground' realistic and practical thinking/ grass-roots level are essential.   - Understanding of Change management process and prior experience of designing, driving and implementing large scale change agenda in a growth centred organization.   - Ability to work with senior management team on complex business and organizational issues and design and provide suitable solutions will be a key deliverable for this role.   - The ability to effectively work and communicate at all levels within the organization and commitment to strategic business partnerships and team developments is a must.   - An entrepreneur mindset and never say die attitude is must to be successful.   - Affable yet assertive, excellent with people  - Confident and non-hierarchical thinker   - Adaptable   - Out-of-the-box thinker   Business Partner :   - You will help build functional teams of professionals and create and implement appropriate career path strategies.   - Help in laying best in-class processes and systems that drives the culture and make a great place to work.   - You will assist in conceptualization and drive implementation of people management initiatives and policies to support overall business strategy.   - This involves understanding the business/functional issues and driving HR activities in compensation and employee benefits administration, employee relations, management development, training and performance management, retention, etc.  Talent Management :   - Review and build capability and Learning & Development including Training functions.  - Drive Change in Performance Management system: You will be instrumental in moving the Company away from the Bell curve appraisal system, and will design and implement one that is appropriate to the needs of the Company.  - Actively promote succession-planning, keeping in .mind the overall business strategy.   - Focus on retention of key talents. Help develop improved solutions for retaining and developing key talent.   - Design assessment tools to define competency and readiness gaps for key talent.   - Design and implement strong reward and recognition system.   Functional Management :   - Lead implementation of core HR programs into the business to insure greater alignment with overall organization's HR policies and processes.   Employee Champion :   - It is important for the incumbent to have the right balance between organization's goals and employee's cause.   - Should have the strength of character to take a stand and push back leadership team wherever required.   - Facilitate an open, inclusive values-based environment.
