Title: Sr. Finance Manager

Purpose: To manage the financial and accounting affairs of a mid-sized plant. Incumbent has overall responsibility for all accounting operations, financial reporting and management accounting and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls. Incumbent needs to ensure that the financial processes function efficiently and reliable. Incumbent is responsible within the function for the relations between the finance department and Business Units.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Plan and direct management accounting activities (cost & variance analysis, monthly performance analysis, investment decisions, balance sheet management and decision support) for the manufacturing units.

Lead the financial monitoring of the units and the implementation of corrective actions.

Execute the business planning process, which includes setting up budgets, rolling forecasts and Monthly performance reviews.

Ensure that the appropriate information systems are in place for management & financial accounting purposes.

Manage the finance and accounting department of the units ensuring appropriate training and capabilities with the staff.

Ensure that proper Business and financial controls are maintained in the units and that the organization adheres to it.

Takes responsibility for project control (e.g. product-development, equipment creation and others)

Takes responsibility of optimisation of cost

Member of Factory Management Team & is responsible to ensure organisation is living upto Client's General Business practices in their day-to-day job.
