Position : Sr. Manager - Finance
Experience : 8+ Years
Location : Gurgaon
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures and strengthen internal controls
- Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
- Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.
- Issue timely and complete financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
- Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
- Can work with limited resources, thrives in environment with little process or structure
- Should be a result oriented professional who works towards achieving the assigned targets.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with a CA degree is a must.
- 5-8 years of experience in managing accounts of a mid/large level company.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
- Knowledge of SAP accounting software user.
- Excellent analytical and strategic skills
- Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Should be a result oriented professional
- Knowledge of IGAAP and IND -AS
- Good knowledge of drafting and applying of controls and processes - IFR/SOX
- IFRS knowledge is an added advantage
- Candidate should be from Manufacturing background
- Good knowledge of applicable taxes on manufacturing
- Must be handling a team of 4-6 people.
