Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts - CA - Enterprise Software Firm

We are currently retained by a leading mid size organization which is into enterprise software focussed around Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC). They have built award winning products and the company has been rated amongst Top 50 most innovative emerging product companies by Nasscom.

They are looking for senior Finance Leader to take care of the entire finance and accounts division and also serve as the Financial Controller.

Location: Pune

To fit the bill, you must be a CA with minimum 8 years of experience in entire gamut of finance including accounting, reporting, MIS, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, AP, AR, compliance, inventory and taxation. You must have worked with a large and SME company. Preferably someone who has experience in liasioning and coordinating with government, banks, tax departments and auditors in financial & legal matters.

Role: General Manager (Accounts & Finance)

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Ensure timely invoice and recovery through business team.

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

- Support month-end and year-end close process.

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Payroll and other regular payments with due consideration to deductions (for advances, loans, taxes, etc).

- Support the planning and management of the annual audit process and project specific utilization certificates.

- Manage travel and other advances, banking transactions and monthly accounting functions in relation to reconciliation of cash and books.

- Other incidental works related to accounts administration.

- TDS filing and TDS return working knowledge and service tax detail and return filling.

- Should have good understanding of company act 2013 and should ensure the company act compliance in association with consultants for company secretarial work.

- Should have sufficient exposure to legal compliance and should be in a position to interact with legal experts for DD and other requirements.

Required Experience:

- Proven working experience as a Controller

- CA / ICWA with 10-12 year's experience in professional accounting.

- Computer skills especially proficiency in MS Excel and Power point

- Comfort in working with Tally package ( ERP 9).

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and analytical skills and sound independent judgment in addressing accountancy & auditing problems.

- Experience with creating financial statements.

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

- Exposure to fund raising exercise and understanding of business plans and investor needs
