Senior Manager - Corporate Development

Our Client, a Europe Based Company with India Headquarters in New Delhi is looking for a "Senior Manager Corporate Development"

The position is a key executive responsible for driving the group’s research and corporate development activity in India.

- He/ She would work with the Director of Strategy and M&A

Responsibility:

- Provide high value research and insight into key industry verticals in the residential and commercial property market, including mortgage lending, valuation, broking, development etc

- Understand real-estate value chain in India and does deep analysis of same. Report where the gaps are and where can our existing products can fit

- Build a robust acquisition and partnering pipeline, ensuring there is alignment with overall business strategy

- Identify acquisition targets

- Engage target management and vendors

- Develop strong investment cases outlining the strategic and financial rationale for any deals

- Communicate with Europe office to obtain appropriate approval for deals

Required Experience:

Analytical:

- Trained in analysis/modelling from a background in strategy consultancy or an equivalent.

- Highly numerical, quant-driven, adept at data/fact-based decision-making.

- Proven track record of interpreting market trends, customer needs and various delivery models.

- Strong academic record.

Research Oriented:

- Should have bend to do research and go into details

Strategic and Commercial:

- Using data/analysis to draw strategic conclusion

- Experienced at market / competitor / business model / pricing / proposition analysis.

- Exposure to, and understanding of, deal analysis, due diligence, managing a transaction, and managing multiple stakeholders during a process.

Relationship Management:

- Able to manage stakeholders, internal and external, effectively.

- Displays the gravitas to operate at senior executive level.

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Strong communication skills

- Presentation skills highly desirable.
