Job Title: Senior Manager/ AVP- Finance

Reports to (Job Title): Financial Controller

General Description

Supporting for the overall functioning of the accounting and control function. Also, providing inputs for the designing & implementing systems to facilitate internal financial control. Key areas are accounting, audit, MIS, Workings for RBI returns, Budget control, Tax and Expense Management for the SME business as well

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing & maintenance of statutory books of accounts & financial statements including P&L Account and Balance Sheet as per TATs

- Supporting the design & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control.

- Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely assessment and filing of direct & indirect tax returns including Sales Tax, Service Tax, VAT and TDS returns; appearing before regulatory tax authorities.

- Evaluation of systems & procedures to ensure smooth functioning of finance & accounting operations across the organization; spearheading process automation initiatives.

- Preparing MIS reports, Cash Flow Statements and other statements to provide feedback to top management on financial performance viz, fund management, credit control, profitability, etc.

- Timely compliance with RBI reportings.

Work Experience requirements:

- 7- 10 years of experience in Finance, Budgeting, Finalization of Accounts, Working Capital Management, Taxation, Auditing and MIS Development. Having exposure to Retail Lending

Education requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Technical: Excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, Excellent presentation skills & spreadsheets.

Leadership & People Management:

- Should be able to manage subordinates and guide and develop them. Should have good interpersonal skills and interact with all the team members

Area of Impact:

- Interact with team members

- Interact with the representatives of the bank /financial institutions/ rating agencies

- Coordination with the tax authorities and other regulatory bodies.
