Senior Manager / Associate Director - Payroll   Job Description:   To build, and lead a team responsible for the end to end service delivery of Payroll Process.   Experienced in Global HR/Payroll Operations. Should be familiar with Payroll upstream & downstream process also like creation of employee data, updating and maintenance of all employee records in the employee lifecycle, Post Payroll processes.  Should have managed fairly large size Payroll operations in an ERP environment.  Support the design and implementation of Global Payroll Delivery model and provide support for creation of a Centre of Excellence by:  1. Building standard,scaleable,processes  2. Ensuring operational efficiency and improvements, quality and cost effectiveness  3. Leading design and implementation of process controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirement  4. Ensure effective co-ordination/ engagement with various functions   5. Benchmarking with Industry best practices and support in strategy making.  Managed a team and be capable of ensuring optimum team performance.  Provide high quality and reliable service delivery to customers within agreed SLAs and timeframes.   Identify opportunities to educate customers on policies and processes.   Provide support handling complex and senior management customer escalations and in coordinating and implementing short and long term solutions where required.  Excellent knowledge of Indian Income Tax laws and its impact on Payroll processing  Partner with HR& Finance teams where required to ensure coordination and information sharing between the teams for seamleass delivery  Seamless transition of any new acquisitions.  Provide direction to re-engineer processes and encourage continuous improvement teams to identify and implement process improvements.   Process mapping and documentation is developed, updated and maintained   Accountable for all risk and compliance procedures and controls.  Track key indicators to track and control process capabilities and mitigate risk leading to positive audit rating.   Candidate Requirement:   Should have min 12 + years of experience overall and have min of 6+ years in Payroll related. Experience in APAC payroll required.  Should have complete functional / processing knowledge of end to end Payroll activity in a large / medium size organization.  Should have experience in working on SAP/ People soft payroll ERP.   Should have managed a team directly.
