The role is a part of Global Services ("GS") Finance Operations Team which is anchored in company's worldwide finance organization. The primary responsibility of the team is to provide top notch financial operational support to a variety of offshore stakeholders who partner with the leadership of our Global Functions, senior finance management (including the CFO and, by extension, the Executive Committee and Operating Committee), Centre of Knowledge and Analytics (CKA) & Practice Area (PA) Finance teams and local, regional and global finance colleagues  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  The role is primarily responsible for planning, reporting and analysis of capacity and compensation of various Global functions & World Wide Initiatives (WWI) within Global Services. The role will include, but not be limited to support in the following key areas:  - Manage central capacity and compensation data for GS and WWI through ownership of capacity models  - Support the GS and WWI Finance Manager with capacity and compensation data during planning cycles, including analysis of major drivers, open roles, key initiatives, attrition and growth  - Reconcile data between capacity models and HR Online tool  - Partner with the local offices and GS HR team to ensure consistency between capacity models, recruiting activity and HR Online system data  - Maintain dynamic list of approved open roles which HR can leverage for recruiting purposes  - Update employee records in HR Online to ensure accuracy of system data and reports  - Deliver capacity and compensation reports for functional teams, making revisions based on feedback  - Prepare standard overhead file during planning cycles based on capacity details  - Provide capacity input in Line Manager Reports for functions to compare actual monthly capacity against plan  - Improve automation of functional compensation and capacity files to reduce cycle time and inform stakeholders of changes  - Partner with Senior Accounting Analyst to reconcile monthly payroll detail with planned compensation, generate monthly analysis indicating drivers of variances  - Perform analytics on general planning assumptions, such as fringe benefits and attrition, to enhance future planning metrics  - Develop process documentation to promote transparency and traceability of inputs and assumptions  - Identify areas for process improvement, develop action items and executive on plan  - Perform scenario analysis on compensation and capacity variables to show impact of varying circumstances as part of planning discussions  - Perform ad hoc reporting related to capacity, compensation or as other business needs arise  - Work with the systems group, HR, Finance and other functions to assist with implementation of process improvements and initiaitves  - Build and maintain various Excel-based operational and financial models related to capacity and compensation  Ad Hoc Support  - Create ad hoc analyses of global capacity metrics with actual and plan data to assist function heads with decision support activities  - Assist various other initiatives and projects as they arise  JOB REQUIREMENTS:  - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred, with experience and strong interest in accounting concepts and reporting & analysis  - 5 years+ of work experience  - Analytical mindset with willingness to provide a wide range of financial services from routine tasks to intricate financial management data  - MS Excel, Word proficiency and adaptable to several software applications   - Systems experience preferred: Hyperion, Oracle, Business Objects and other comparable systems  - Oracle experience a plus (GL, Fixed Assets and AP)
