Senior Consultant - Strategy & Markets

We at Valcon Management Consultants (www.valcon.in) are looking to hire for the role of a Managing Consultant, in our Strategy & Markets team, to help deliver top notch delivery and drive our business primarily in South India. Valcon places a high emphasis on How part of consulting and hence we look at staffing experienced people with a mix of industry and consulting background.

- You should be able to prepare hands-on project solutions creating value for the customers through project interventions, and you will be actively involved in client management and the continued development of the business area.

Responsibilities:

- Effectively develop and deliver project deliverables as an onsite team member for consulting projects

- Develop effective and efficient analytical models for hypothesis validation and business case
development for consulting projects

- Design and implement primary / secondary customer research models as part of the consulting projects

- Manage client stakeholders on a day to day basis when deployed on projects with guidance from the
project manager

- Develop knowledge collaterals based on project learning /collective industry experience

- Assist regional directors in business development by ensuring effective business analysis of the
prospective clients and work with service line leaders to develop effective pre-proposal packs.

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

- Engineering with a MBA from a top school preferred

- Need to have at least 7+ total years of experience(industry and consulting)

- Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience

- Effective communication and client stakeholder management skills

- Experience working in cross functional teams across marketing, sales, operations and finance in
industry / consulting projects required

- International exposure beneficial, however primary domestic experience is key

Location: Chennai

Travel: 50 - 60%

Compensation: Commensurate with candidate's experience & relevance to the role
