Senior Business Analyst- Supply chain Design Consultant LLamasoft   Role : Senior Business Analyst  Experience : 7-12 Years   Retail & CPG Experience : 5+ Years  Location : Noida/Chennai   Description:Senior Business Analyst, Supply chain Design is a Core Domain Consultant position in Retail & CPG. To be an active partner in steering the client's organizations with fact based material and analyze for optimization, utilization and improvements for the business. The activities include (but not limited to), support the business processes with data collection, analysis and proposing supply chain planning and design solutions for the Retail/CPG business areas.   Responsibilities:   - Design and deliver supply chain design solutions using Supply Chain Guru, Transportation Guru, and a host of innovative solutions.  - Works as a Supply Chain Design Consultant on projects that involve Network, Inventory and Transportation Optimization applied to Retail industry solutions using Llamasoft's proprietary tool- Supply Chain Guru  - Knowledge in inventory planning methods, transportation scheduling, and statistical demand forecasting / demand analysis methodologies.  - Lead network optimization solutions using Llamasoft supply chain guru software, Recommend opportunities for supply chain cost reduction.  - Analyze various - what-if- supply chain scenarios to prepare a cost/benefit analysis of proposedchanges  - Understand key client performance levers (on-time delivery, cost, feasibility, etc.) and seek solutions to improve these metrics  - Proficiency in how demand forecasts are developed and in inventory management principles and practices  - Exposure to demand forecasting model development  - Review and validate data, build and validate models, run scenarios, and assist in the preparation of client presentations  - Fully document modelling approach, data sources and transformations, assumptions, and constraints  - Experience in inventory management, allocation, and supply chain  - Global supply chain network strategy and inventory optimization  - Ability to do domain consulting/advisory services (Business process Improvement/RE-Engineering, Gap analysis etc.)   - Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for documenting the Business rules, Requirements.   - Ensure compliance with agreed architectures, IT strategy principles, and recommendations in feasibility studies and projects.   - Lead the work to define/refine business processes, Requirements and business rules.   Skills & Qualifications:  - Extensive knowledge of Retail/CPG Business processes and its dependencies.  - Expertise in one of the following functional areas and exposure to other functional areas: Some of the areas (not limited to) Forecasting, Ordering, Inventory, Warehouse/store process, eCommerce & Analytics.   - Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and process flows  - Experience in software development efforts through the entire project lifecycle is an advantage.  - Exceptional communication skills, this includes written and verbal communications   - The ability to act as liaison conveying information in suitably accurate models between the business unit and their counterparts within Information Technology.   - Must be a Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.   - Ability to Travel (short term/Long term) to any client location within short notice of time (2 weeks) is a must.
