As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on delighting customers with new and differentiated product offerings. You will work on getting new brands and exclusive products while continuing to deliver a world-class customer experience. New and exclusive brands should drive new customers to platform, increment sales and margin for the category and rapidly expand and grow our selection from around the world.

He or she will be responsible for signing the right mix of new brands, adding exclusive selection, smart pricing, driving margin improvements and delivering top notch customer experience.

Responsibilities :

This person will have responsibility for:

- Charting out exclusive strategy for particular category-Person responsible will lay down business approach, process to close deals, road map and goals.

- Identifying trendsetter ideas by researching industry, related events, developments and announcements

- Building exclusive brand/product portfolio by locating, developing, negotiating and closing business relationships with identified opportunities.

- Person responsible will screen potential deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options considering internal priorities.

- Pitching to prospective brands and provide pre-sales support to scope, create, and drive proposals, business cases, and responds to brands- business requirements

- Building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within external companies

- Managing the deals pipeline, directly interfacing with prospective brands- executive teams to facilitate all stages of proposal closure and execution

- Working with all relevant cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, implementation and execution of objectives. This will require working closely with internal category, marketing, cross-site and support teams.
