Job Description

Position : Senior Associate

Location : Dubai

Duration : Immediately Two years in Dubai followed by India.

Years of Experience is 5 to 8 years of which the candidate should have 5 years of banking experience.

Roles and responsibilities :

- The candidate would be the point of contact for the client

- The candidate would be responsible for collecting, reviewing and assessing all existing legal matters of the client and create a system which will indicate the legal health of the bank

- Advise the banks on merits and demerits of each case

- Establish processes of preventing or mitigating frauds committed either by employees or by the customers.

- Analysing and drafting documents in a precise manner: this job is intellectually rigorous also demanding commercial understanding.

- Streamline the existing standard banking documentation and bring them closer to global standards.

- Assist the client in creating superior due diligence parameters on the existing and future customers.

- Engaging, interacting and coordinating with a external attorneys as and when required.

- Provide training to managers.

Candidate's Profile :

As a Banking Lawyer the candidate will have:

- Experience of regulatory issues currently impacting relevant businesses.

- In-depth experience of documentation including security arrangements.

Compensation : Open for negotiation / at par with industry (The candidate should understand that we are bearing the expense of accomodation)

Visa : We will be responsible for arranging the work permit visa for the candidate.

Accommodation : Shared accommodation between two lawyers in a 2/3 bedroom flat would be our responsibility.

Joining : Immediate (at the earliest possible)
