Senior Analyst - Report Writing & Forecasting

Job Description (Senior Analyst - Report Writing and Forecasting) :

Synthesize primary and secondary research : Develop a structured and logical approach to data collection, including the identification of new data sources. Help design, conduct and evaluate both primary and secondary research to ensure data quality.

Report writing : Analyze data and derive meaningful insights and author syndicated research documents, including market updates; investor briefs; and country, sector and thematic reports.

Understand market and business dynamics : Analyze market conditions to develop an understanding of gambling industry and business dynamics. Identify the critical success factors within the market and forecast the direction of a market using clear and arguable assumptions.

Data modelling and forecasting : Analyze and build market data based on the information collected as part of the research process. Apply logic to create market forecast.

Master time management : Prioritize your workload and manage your time effectively to hit deadlines. Take responsibility to deliver research and consulting work on time.

Team management : Manage a team of associate analysts and researchers; assign/distribute tasks; review and quality check reports and databases produced by them and provide feedback.

Candidate Requirements :

- 3-4 years of experience in secondary research and report writing.

- Experience in understanding, estimating and forecasting data at an industry and market level.

- Knowledge in Sports & Recreation industry, preferably Gambling, and Travel and Tourism sector.

- Good attention to detail and ability to quickly identify & address data issues.

- Excellent writing skills with the ability to analyze an industry for various trends, challenges, strengths and opportunities.

- Excellent communication skills. Having the ability to communicate clearly, interestingly and enthusiastically to internal and external clients of the team.

- Should have MS Word, MS Excel and MS PPT knowledge.
