Responsibilities:

- Build and manage the Bangalore Commercial Pricing COE

- Advise global leadership on how to maximize the value that the Bangalore Commercial Pricing COE

- Ensure work products adhere to global standards.

- Provide local leadership on global data initiatives, such as standardizing data structures

- Provide local leadership on initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of global reporting

- Provide local leadership on analyses to improve our understanding of our profitability and rate adequacy

- Promulgate and enforce global best practices across the various teams

- Automate and standardize processes & analyses across the teams in order to improve efficiency

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree and actuarial credentials or strong analytical skills required. 10+ years of commercial lines pricing experience preferred.

- Proven ability to lead a diverse department of people, develop high performing teams, adapt to change, and influence others. Able to manage a matrixed department where many of the staff report up on a dotted-line basis. Able to adopt a flexible management style to accommodate the different needs of the various functions being supported.

- Strong English communication skills. Able to adapt to the different communication styles of people in different countries around the globe. Strong interpersonal skills that provide the ability to interact with senior levels of the organization.

- Well organized with a high degree of initiative and endurance in order to prioritize, multi-task, maintain flexibility and meet deadlines in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.

- Comfortable with managing a wide variety and constantly evolving set of analyses, processes and priorities. Strong analytical skills and able to pick up new responsibilities quickly.

- Ability to manage through ambiguity, especially since this is a start-up operation.
