Educational Qualifications :
- A Post Graduate qualification in Business Administration or a professional qualification in the field of public relations/ marketing communication or advertising.
Experience :
- The senior account director must have at least 15 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing.
- Essential Consumer experience in an Agency with some exposure desirable in Automobile industry (client handling)
Role Specifications :
Financial :
- Deliver profitable income for Client through managing and representing the respective team/(s).
- Devise, lead and implement the business plan for Practice with a view to generate fee/ profit objectives as identified in the business plan.
Business Development :
- Facilitate communication between offices to increase cross selling.
- Link to regional/global account management teams to ensure continuous growth in account business.
- Develop common marketing materials/collaterals/research.
- Grow cross boarder relationship with overseas clients.
- Develop relationship with global account management teams.
Delivery :
- Ensure delivery standards of employee within expectation of our clients and those managing/referring business.
Other Responsibilities :
- Study market, competitor as well as economic activity and trends and lead the annual business planning/ functional planning exercise, review and approve plans in line with overall company plans and monitor implementation.
- Manage relationships with other offices and practices to provide seamless service to the client.
- Study best practices, recommend implementation within the company & function, review and monitor implementation of various project initiatives (such as process improvement, cost reduction etc.), seek approval for or jointly decide on budget spends etc.
- Guide and motivate subordinates and team members, set performance objectives and KRAs, conduct performance assessment, identify subordinate's training and development needs.
- Participate in recruitment process, interview prospective candidates, review, recommend and seek necessary approvals.
- Build Client's brand among media and large corporations.
- Interact and build relationships with key client contacts, manage relationships and build networks to develop and enhance business success.
Key Performance Indicators :
- Annual Business Plan - Plan vs. Actual
- Level of cross selling within Client
- Timeliness w.r.t achievement of various KRAs, objectives, initiatives, etc.
- Targets of revenue/ profitability/ fee /margins/ P&L /cost etc. (as applicable).
- Client (internal/ external) satisfaction scores/ levels.
- Number of Key Accounts, New Accounts, Repeat Business Targets.
- Employee/ Subordinate Feedback or Satisfaction scores.
- Other relevant measures
