About our Client - Our client is the worlds largest services company in the oil field sector and has a strong presence within the country. Worldwide, they have a firm reputation for growing and enabling accelerated growth. They are currently recruiting for a Segment Operations Controller in Mumbai

Job Description - While reporting to the CFO your responsibilities would be to :

- Overlook all the financial management and profitability of the Segment within a Geo-Market

- Monitor the working capital within the Segment and tracking of inventory level.

- Maintain a check on inventory levels by understand store processes and future business needs

- Identify opportunities to save/reduce discretionary spend to supply chain by analyzing market trends

- Work closely with the Operations to ensure that the operations within the Geo-Market is conducted in compliance with the local laws

- To Organize periodic audits internally and assist in external audits

- To participate in contract negotiation and tender bidding with supply chain and in turn identify vendor re-pricing opportunities

- To prepare budgets, financial forecasts and timely completion of Balance sheets

- Train and mentor line managers to understand financial statements and segment drivers

- Complete monthly financial reporting, and carry out variance analysis and budget v/s actual analysis

- Implement Sarbane Oxley requirements as defined in the risk control matrix

The Successful Candidate :

- You are a CA with at least 5 years of experience in supporting Controllers and Operations Managers.

- You must have hands-on experience in analyzing business issues, accounting practices, assessing business trends and identifying savings opportunities.

- You must have strong ERP and computer skills.You should possess sound communication and project management skills.
