JOB DESCRIPTION   JOB TITLE - Manager / Sr.Manager Learning Solutions   PURPOSE OF THE JOB - The purpose of this role is to create, develop and delivery people programs and interventions that will assist in the organization becoming and staying a high performing organization. This role serves as a subject matter expert for the stake holders and is responsible for delivering a high quality learning strategy consultancy and service which covers policies & programs, ensuring the organization has the management capability to meet its goals and vision . Also responsible for the coach to managers on learning consultants to provide coaching, guidance for manager’s competency improvement.   OBJECTIVES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   - Work strategically with biz. managers to develop appropriate learning plans that anticipate and respond to organizational changes.   - Work with HPBPs and other heads of HR functions to ensure current and future business needs are reflected in practice.   - Create and deliver strategic L&D offering based on organization’s priorities and key programs of activities, focused on adult learning methods – convert knowledge dissemination activities from classroom- based training to better delivery mechanisms such as e-learning and line coaching. Explore new learning methods including volunteering, shadowing and job swaps.   - Ensure cost-effective access to basic skills development tied to business goals - possibly through open sessions.   - Support line managers in understanding development options through new tools (e.g. LMS), better line management/peer coaching, developmental project assignments and staff engagement.   - Identify and network staff with L&D accountabilities across the organization. Use this network to quantify the amount of L&D activity undertaken, look for synergies and upgrade organization’s approach .   - Undertake Learning specific projects as needed.   SPECIFIC ISSUES   Some travels outside Bangalore, may be needed as per job requirements   POSITION OF THE JOB IN THE ORGANISATION   Report to Learning Solution Director   INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS   - Work closely with in Learning Solutions other team members & L&D operation tem for integrated solutions design & program management, reporting, and operation management.   - Work closely with executives, BUHRs, line managers, etc. from BU.   - Work closely with global respective academy for global program’s deployment in India and regional L&D teams to leverage resources and share best practices.   EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS   Work closely with external training consulting firms when necessary to design programs, update course content, continuously improve learning effectiveness and provide integrated learning solutions design & execution as per BU learning needs   - Able to influence and manage through a range of key contacts; strong probing and communication skills with senior executives.   - Able to create a good personal relationship with staff at all levels, to encourage feedback and the generation of ideas; drive ownership and accountability at all levels.   - Great networking skills, ability to find out and apply best practice ideas from other organizations.   - Strong facilitation skills including the ability to relate well with others and ability to adapt style and design ‘on the fly’ as needed.   - Able to describe key activities as simple processes/flow diagrams.  - Capable of finding workable solutions, particularly when changes are required to working practices.   - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and present complex information in a clear and simple way.   - Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and be resilient.  Education - Degree / relevant professional qualification   Bachelor and MBA   Experience required :   (8 to 12 years of relevant experience)   Working experiences & other competencies, skills requirements:   1. Significant experience designing and delivering a range of management and front-line development activities including but extending beyond classroom training   2. Breadth of understanding of learning and development issues and interventions   3. Previous experience of proactively managing a learning and development agenda and implementing tools and processes that drive significant personal and business benefit.   4. Highly organized: demonstrated ability to manage a broad portfolio of activities   5. Experience proactively developing effective working relationships and using influence in order to gain commitment and deliver on desired/agreed outcomes with a range of stakeholders.   6. Experience of analyzing complex information and presenting reports.
