Areas of Responsibility:  - Work with business stakeholders/ business relationship managers for seeking new IT demand. This includes conducting workshops with Business for understanding and gathering user requirements; translating the requirements into Technical and Commercial Document of Understandings (proposals)  - Presenting the proposals to Business and seeking approvals on the same  - Responsible for aggregating demand from multiple business entities and planning capacity based on demand forecast and the levels of service agreed with Business. This would be based on analytical balancing of the agreed service levels with customer, effort/ skill-sets required, and under-utilization costs.   - To ensure that the necessary capacity is available when it is needed, to avoid a negative impact on quality of service or avoiding unnecessary expenses caused by "last minute" hiring  - Responsible for Annual & Quarterly forecasts  - Run forecasting models / simulations for demand and capacity planning. Understand the limitations and intuition of these forecasting models and take steps to improve forecast accuracy.  - Support organizational initiatives such as CMMI Level 5, Sig Sigma initiatives  - Responsible for mentoring, career planning and guidance to reportees  Resource Management:  - Organize weekly resource management meetings with delivery clusters (at least one each week separately for Oracle, Custom Apps & Bridge)  - Responsible for creating reservations in Planview and approving allocations for GD resources  - Creation of Planview buckets and monitoring GD utilization and allocations  - Facilitate internal Planview trainings conducted for GD users & new managers  - Manage long term and short term Capacity Planning for the forecasted and actual Demand  Experience:  - Overall experience of 10 to 15 years with 7-8 years relevant experience in Demand Capacity function  Education:  - Masters in Human Resource/ Finance
