Essential Functions of the Job:

- Implement SCA’s supply chain enterprise software solutions and business process for customers.

- Build supply chain strategy by using SCA solutions. Synthesize results, analysis and present recommendations.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

- Implement SCA software solutions and processes for clients. Develop process flow diagram, gap-analysis, and process models during the business process study phase of the project. Perform solution configurations, data migration activities, user acceptance testing and client process training in line with system implementation practices.

- Communicate effectively with customers about data and functional needs, implementation processes, deployment, user training etc. to best implement SCA projects.

- Build enterprise supply chain models for customers in SCA solutions. Work with clients to define data requirements and collect data. Define data mapping and business rules to build models.

- Develop standard processes for ongoing data transfers and data validation and guide process implementation. Build and standardize reusable processing tools.

- Enhance modeling business logic and calculations in the products for client or product enhancements. Translate enhancements into functional specifications to develop generic software modules. Update standard data definition, processing and validation methodology to deploy the enhancements.

- Build supply chain strategy by using SCA solutions. Predict and optimize operations, capacity and cost impact under different scenarios. Synthesize results and analysis for client reporting.

- Analyze large datasets for production, distribution, sales and financial data to understand data attributes, summarize the supply chain and validate data.

- Communicate strategic planning solutions to the clients and assist them in implementing the solutions across their supply chain.

- Support ad-hoc analyses and other ongoing business process support for client projects

- Own the delivery of project tasks using standard processes. Puts forth ideas/views confidently. Mentor and guide trainees in the use of process, job skills and work standards.

- Contribute in building department processes, standards and practices.

Skills:

Education Qualification:

- An ideal Supply Chain Analyst possesses strong academic credentials in engineering, management or a related field along with demonstrable experience in using quantitative methods.

- Masters or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business or equivalent.

- Bachelors in Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Economics

Experience:

- Two to three years prior experience in supply chain consulting or software solution implementation.

- Background in production planning, industrial engineering, inventory management, manufacturing systems and logistics.

- Familiarity with system implementation activities such as UAT, Business Process Training and Data Migration

- Experience with statistical models or languages such as C or C++ is preferred.

- Knowledge of optimization methods for linear and discrete models preferred

Skills and Knowledge required:

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Databases and other analysis tools. Familiarity with developing functional specifications, use cases and test cases highly desirable

Vocational skills:

- Knowledge of ERP/MRP, supply chain analysis, business analytics, cost accounting preferred.

Soft Skills:

- Good communication skills are a must

- Strong analytical and technical skills required for problem solving and troubleshooting.

- Ability to work closely and effectively with end users / client.

- Ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented

- Work effectively in a team environment with minimum supervision

- Good presentation skills
