SBICAP Securities - AVP - Communications Leader

Role Summary/Purpose:

Essential Responsibilities:

- Responsible for all external and internal corporate communications for GE SBI Cards working closely with GE Capital Communications, SBI Communications, GECBPMSL and SBICPSL internal stakeholders

- Build the GE SBI Cards brand among internal and external stakeholder through proactive communications campaigns in line with the CEOs’ vision

- Build the GE SBI Cards leadership profile among internal and external stakeholders including those in SBI and GE.

- Be the co-owner of the SBI Cards brand along with the marketing team

- Design and implement employee, partner and media communications

- Own and manage all SBI Card interactions with industry bodies and chambers of commerce under the guidance of the CEO and in consultation with GE Capital Communications and SBI Communications

- Create and disseminate SBI Card specific employee communications through newsletter, leadership communications, all-employee meetings.

- Responsible for generating editorial content for internal and external use for SBI Cards

- Co-own Internal Communications Campaigns like Policy Awareness, Employee Engagement Campaigns for GE SBI Cards

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Graduate/post graduate in journalism/ advertising/ public relations/ marketing

- 7+ years of media/communications/marketing experience with at least 4 years of relevant experience in public relations/corporate communications.

- 3+ experience/ exposure in creating a comprehensive corporate communications/ marketing plan and executing it.

- Good editorial writing skills

- Knowledge of basic IT tools and software especially social media tools used in corporate communications

- Ability to work with external vendors and liaise with multiple internal stakeholders

- Exposure to designing & layout

Qualifications/ Experience Preferred:

- Ability to work in a matrix organization.

- Hands on experience in managing a corporate communications/ marketing communications program

- Hands on experience/ exposure to internal communications and advertising is an advantage

- Good presentation and verbal communication skills

- 3+ years of working in a corporate setup

- Exposure to new media/social media - facebook, twitter, yammer & linkedin

- Exposure to creating corporate videos, brochure and corporate event management
