Role : Advisor for Big Data (On Contractual Basis)

Location : Navi Mumbai (CBT Belapur)

Essential Job Requirements:

Education:

- Candidates with full time Engineering Degree in Computer Science / IT from a recognized University

- Preference will be given to candidates with M.E/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science / IT from any of the Top Institutes

Experience :

- Minimum 10 Years experience in Big Data / Data Warehouse Technologies

- Minimum 3 years experience in Big Data Technologies like Spark, Kafka, Sqoop, Hive, HBase etc is required

- Experience in implementing Hadoop framework on Cloudera/Hortonworks

- Proven track record in incorporating latest operational tools into big data platforms

- Fundamental knowledge of servers/computers hardware and software

- Fundamental knowledge of load balancers, firewalls, TCP / IP protocols

Key Deliverable :

The selected candidate would essentially initiate, guide and provide insights to Big Data Team.

a) Setup and implementation of Data Lake within one Year

b) Implementation of 2 Big data use cases within one year

c) Design and implementation of data models

d) ETL Application development using ETL & ELT tools

e) Development and implementation of OLAP design

f) Deployment, maintenance and administration of Hadoop cluster

g) Development of use cases using Big data tools & technologies
