Company is fast growing inspite of global recession. In India, it has about 400 outlets (Shops in Shop + Exclusive Stores). With head office at Santacruz (W), they need a SAP consultant at their HO, the brief specs of which are as follows :  Job Title: Consultant SAP SD functional  Location: Mumbai  Reporting to: SAP Technical Lead   Job Title / Designation: SAP SD/WMS Consultant  Role: SAP SD/WMS Consultant  Reporting to: SAP Manager  Work Location: Mumbai  Business Areas: Sales & distribution,taxation,pricing  Travel Required: No routine travel but may need to travel on a need basis.  Goal:  - To support business in all SAP SD/WMS activities including support, implementations, enhancements & new development & achieve customer satisfaction.  Key Responsibility Areas:  - The SD Consultant performs all activities of the SAP SD module.   - He is responsible for co-ordination with other module consultants and completion of the project(s) assigned to him.   - He would be responsible for the quality work done (as per SD perspective) & SD and WMS integration with other modules/systems.  Domain, Technical and Quality tasks:  - Broad SAP configuration experience and strong practical functional/business, ability to configure solutions where applicable.   Thorough knowledge of the following core SAP SD areas:  - Sales &distribution  - Stock Inward/outward Process   - Pricing & Promotion  - Taxes  - Inter-Company implementation  - Shipping  - SD/WMS Integration with other modules/systems   - Strong working understanding of ERP and bolt-on integration  - Must have an understanding of relevant methodologies, processes and standards   - Provide research and consultation pertaining to new and/or unused functionality including business impact, leverage, and benefits  - Must be able to work independently and as part of a team on multiple, competing priorities  - Must possess ability and the mindset to objectively view an issue as it relates to cross-business prioritization as well as effectively explain a significant issue or resolution from an end-user/ customer/ business/ systems perspective  - Work with the SAP Manager, Project Lead & Business to resolve identified solution defects  Communication & Team Management Tasks:  - The SD Consultant must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication, and be able to get ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences.  - Functional/Technical expertise around SAP SD solution, bolt-on applications, system and business processes, and support methodology  - Proven ability to appropriately and effectively identify, take ownership, and focus on highest-priority tasks, and consistent demonstration of ensuring focus on those priorities  - Must be self-motivated and possess a willingness to successfully take on projects and tasks with little direction  - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are a must - able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences.  - Communicate and train the final solution to the business and team members, and coordinate the implementation of the solution to the production environment  - May work directly with the Project Managers/Project sponsor to estimate effort, plan activities and negotiate consensus among individual team members on their appointed tasks.  Working Relationships / Challenges:  - Working Relationships: The SAP SD Consultant will report to the SAP Manager within the IT Team.  - Major Challenges: May need to work on multiple high priority assignment in parallel.  Experience Requirements:  Overall Experience:   - Minimum 4 years experience of which at least 3 years of relevant SAP SD module experience in at least one implementation & couple of support projects with one preferably being in Retail Domain.   - The candidate should be well versed with multi company scenarios & inter-company processes.  Industry / Area / Domain: Retail / Procurement, Inventory Management  Skills & Knowledge: As mentioned in Key Responsibility Area   Qualifications: BE, B.Tech, PGDBA, MBA with exposure to Retail will be preferred  Incase above interests you then please send an updated copy of your CV and suggest a time when we can connect for a detailed discussion.
