PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES  SAP HANA is the fastest growing database solution in the world with over 100%+ year-over-year growth with 3300 customers and growing. As a SAP HANA Industry Business Architect you will be a key member of the SAP HANA presales sales team driving engagements with top SAP customers.  As an Industry Business Architect, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional pre-sales teams to map the customer's business objectives to a value based IT strategy for in-memory technology adoption and deployment to meet these objectives. You will work with top sales teams and will be responsible for providing expert consultation on value selling and implementation processes, including the development of business cases with quantified monetary benefits that help create a value-based strategy for technology sales and deployment.   You should expect to spend the majority of your time leading workshops with customers to understand their business needs and map their current environment, to deliver value-based business and IT strategy recommendations.  As an Industry Business Architect within the presales team you will play a key role in defining the pre-sales strategies and developing a long term relationship you're your assigned customer accounts  You will measured on the license revenue generated and qualify of customer feedback.  EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS  - Lead business strategy mapping, strategy enablement, solution visioning and enterprise architecture workshops to develop IT and business strategies for key customer initiatives  Identify current pain points, solution enablers and best practices  Identify and rank key use cases that drive SAP HANA and SAP PSG solutions adoption  Capture potential benefits of use cases  Assist in conducting ROI, TCO and Risk analysis with complex software license opportunities  Develop an enterprise strategy to simplify the customer's IT environment over a 3 year period  Recommend change management and IT governance strategies  Work with SAP Services and SAP Partners to develop high-level implementation timelines  - Enable the virtual account team to expand profitable revenue opportunities by leveraging a variety of value-based selling approaches, methods and tools to deliver comprehensive value propositions and business cases in collaboration with customers and prospects  - Develop, refine, and standardize innovative value-selling approaches, tools, methodologies and industry/Lob-specific content for driving SAP PSG sales cycles. Identify, capture and publish repeatable industry specific SAP HANA use cases.  EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES  - Minimum of a Master's Degree and/or MBA required  - Exceptional analytical and technical skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills including collaboration, presentation, facilitation and persuasion.  - Additional requirements that are preferred but not required  Masters or PhD in Engineering, Science and/or Mathematics  Experience leading the selection and deployment of ERP solution like SAP ECC.  Management Consultancy experience advising clients on IT and business strategy  Prior experience a member of SAP Value Architecture and/or BTS teams  WORK EXPERIENCE  - 12+ years of professional experience in Sales / Consulting / Industry Solutions experience  - Domain experience in one of the Industries: Manufacturing, BFSI, Telco.  - Experience in diverse technology landscape and process/technology integration  - Experience driving business and IT alignment  - Experience in driving disciplined account engagements   - Experience working with Information Technology BPO's (Business Process Owners)  - Experience in design and facilitation of executive workshops aligning diverse perspectives and expectations.  - Experience with business case creation, analysis, and research.  - Executive presence and experience building and retaining strong customer relationships  - Experience in leading development of deployment project plans and long term IT Roadmaps  - Experience leading cross-functional teams  - Advanced knowledge of value selling methodology. & processes, opportunities, value chain and ecosystem analyses experience.
