Responsibilities:

Business Relationships: Developing and sustaining long term customer relationships engaging with customers at all levels including senior management of customer organizations. Early engagement in the buying process and influencing specifications to match by networking within the customer account and wider industry

Sales Process: Manage the day to day and strategic sales process with direct responsibility for quarterly results and longer term account goals. Identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building differentiated value propositions. Manage and build customer contacts, serving as the customer's ambassador, trusted advisor. Acting as a focal point for influencing strategies, opportunity sales plans, proposal strategies, contract negotiations, etc

Customers: Engage technical buyers, economic buyers, and relationship buyers. Engaging customers at all levels including executive level decision makers. Responsibility for account growth and penetration

People Management: Providing individual vision and strategy for the pursuit of opportunities while partnering with others to produce positive business results for HBS

Results: Profitable growth in the form of new opportunities within existing and new accounts

About you

- Degree educated (or equivalent) sales professional with a track record of success gained both developing new business and the development of existing customers

- Candidates must have previous experience working in a business development or account management role for a major contractor

- Knowledge and experience selling Fire, Security, BMS or other related building services is highly desirable

- Proven track record of pro-active customer engagement at senior levels

- Ability to challenge customers to ensure thorough understanding of their requirements value engineering a suitable solution

- Ability to create, seek out and assess new opportunities

- Track record of developing and sustaining customer relationships

Key Deliverable will be :

- Provide tailored solutions and value propositions for assigned vertical markets.

- Develop a pipeline of opportunities in assigned area

- Accurately forecast and achieve orders, margin and growth in support of Annual Operating Plan in an assigned offering set

- Participate in opportunity and account, planning and strategy sessions

- Training and knowledge transfer of vertical market set to sales professionals

- Responsible for developing their own Playbook

- Define specific growth initiatives for vertical market set
