We are looking for Agency & Brand Partnerships (Sales) with a start-up to work with following skills sets;

Job description

This role involves building/scaling the demand side of the platform i.e. brand/agency acquisition and retention. It is a revenue focused, client facing role that presents an opportunity to work closely with the founder and represent the company in public.

Generating demand also entails servicing it by mapping it with the platforms Supply side (Creators) - the dual natured user base makes this an interesting challenge to work on.

This role is ideal for a person:

With excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Who is a multitasker and can juggle between spreadsheets, calendars, decks & CRM as s/he hyper communicates via chat

Who understands new media platforms, its culture and etiquettes, business around it

Who is looking for first-hand early-age start-up experience from an all-around perspective (and not a structured 9 to 5 job)

Who thrives in ambiguity and would love to be a part of a fast-paced environment where individual opinion matters.

Qualifications /Eligibility Criteria:

Overall B2B sales experience closing new business, + media sales.

Proven track record to sell to agencies (Media Planners, Creative Teams) or Brands ( CMOs, Brand Managers, Marketing Heads)

Ability to structure and develop a sales process for generating and winning inbound and outbound deals.

Proactive personality, excellent story-telling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ACQUISITION

Develop your territory - networking targeted prospected, hosting events, etc.

Work with the founder to develop short-term and long-term sales and marketing strategies including setting sales targets, pipeline and policies.

Penetrate Key Accounts while keeping a steady flow of mid-market deals

Collaborate with team members to refine and scale our sales process

Work on all phases of end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, pre-sales presentations, client persuasion, pitches/ negotiations, contracting terms, managing delivery (with the Community Engagement & Growth team), collecting payments

2. SERVICING

Manage delivery: This is a client facing role. In addition to pre-sales, you will engage with the client in managing the delivery for serviced campaigns. This would also involve cross-team coordination.

User Delight / Branding: A brand is a perception derived from a series of experiences that help the users relate the entity with a certain set of values. Branding in early stage platforms majorly involves delivering a consistent and delightful experience across touch points. This is key to sustain performance and repeats.

Identify service requirements from the demand side. Identify opportunities from the supply side that could be used to build demand. Analyse and maximise selling opportunities by establishing personal rapport with all levels of Brand/ agency organisation / Creators

Secondary Responsibilities

Community Engagement: As an extension to the point above, this role involves engaging the user community with updates, announcements, best practices, educational tips and opportunity alerts to ensure optimal engagement on the platform. #LifecycleManagement #ContentMarketing
