Our client is in market since from 1996 and focuses on the distribution of luxury watches and jewelry in the Middle East market.

Job Description:

Job Title: Sales Head

Reports to (Title): CEO

Subsidiary; MENA

Department: General Management

Position Summary:

- The Head of Sales will have ownership of the operational practices of all Sales Offices within GCC and will ensure that the marketing and sales campaigns meet the budget and sales objectives.

- The Sales Head will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. Will identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

Principal Responsibility:

- Determines Annual top line and Gross-profit plans by implementing sales / marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

- Drives and achieves agreed KPI targets (focuses on Volume, Margin and ultimately revenue growth). Ensures proper Inventory management.

- Implements Region wise sales programs by developing sales action plans. Ensures implementation of Marketing / Sales Plans.

- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

- Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, sales newsletters and electronic bulletins.

- Maintains regional sales staff targets by counseling and disciplining employees; plans, monitors, and appraises job results.

- Manages personnel and develops sales team. Charters a growth path for his direct subordinates.

- Liaises with internal Stakeholders (HR, Operations and Marketing) to achieve the overall common objective of the company.

- Insures regular audit checks and improves processes and suggests corrective actions where required.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability:

Education level and/or relevant experience(s):

- Applicant should have a Bachelor / Masters Degree or PG Diploma in Operations or Sales and marketing, in order to justify the responsibilities of this position

Knowledge and skills (general and technical):

- A minimum of 12-15 years of related experience in luxury and lifestyle segment in a very broad spectrum of products and business environments.

- Preferably with experience in distribution and retail of wrist watches, fashion and fine jewelry related products and brands across geographic territories.

- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

- Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.

- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

- Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, physical or mental abilities required) Head of Sales have to make decisions that affect the company. Having the ability to make hard and fast decisions is crucial to success.

- Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
