Sales Compensation Executive

The job is that of a Sales compensation manager whose main purpose is to ensure that the incentive of the sales employees based on various schemes and for different channels are calculated correctly and are sent to the payroll team within the monthly deadlines.

Impact of role: This role involves ensuring the incentive calculations for the entire sales workforce is done within timelines and is done accurately. Hence it is a very high impact role.

Manage a team of 2-3 people; Induction, allocation of work, performance appraisal

- Coordinate with various teams – Accounts, Sales MIS, Persistency, etc. for getting data

- Ensure that the queries raised are properly resolved by the team within TAT

- Maintain track of the Sales budget by preparing provisions

Key Tasks & Activities

- Analyze the performance of the sales workforce and provide insights to the top management on the effectiveness of the incentive schemes.

- Perform checks of the incentive calculations done by the team for all Sales channels

- Allocate work of incentive calculations, query solving, MIS updates, etc. to the team

- Understand the entire workflow of the incentive process and enable automation wherever possible.

- Create goals of the team members and conduct their performance appraisals

- Prepare provisions based on the incentive paid vs budget for all Sales Channels.

Person Specifications:

Full-time PGDM/MBA with an engineering background

Experience in Incentives Calculations for different sales channels in Insurance Domain for atleast 1 year (min.)
