Sales & Solutions Director  Key Objective :  - Using your sales management and business development skills, drive sales growth in India.   - Responsible for initiating contact with potential clients and managing a pipeline of sales activity both B2C and agency channels. Work with State Managers and their teams achieve sales targets and profitable solutions on the Sabre GDS.  - Perform business solutions consulting services to customers and prospective customers   - Ensure solution recommendations are materially relevant to customers and the business  - Channel Market, Customer and Sales feedback to Product Marketing to enhance capabilities  - Reach set sales targets across solution portfolio and customer segmentation  - Achieve "stickiness" with existing customers and to help drive new customer acquisitions  Key Responsibilities :  Solutions Consulting :  - Analyse how business processes and solutions work within a client organization and provides change leadership improvement methods to produce lasting changes resulting in quantifiable business improvements   - Gather detailed data on workflows and system usage.Partner with business leaders to identify and define business process improvements and provide methods to achieve improvements   - Filter out major workflow issues from minor ones,Document workflow processes (flowchart)   - Identify risks with current process and recommend improvements,Understand organizational and information technologies relationships and impacts to key processes, Document critical success factors Design and recommend as part of a team, new or revised internal business processes. Integrate bench-marking/best practices within the industry with process design.  Sales/Business Development  - Drive and implement Sales & Business Solutions plan and strategies   - Oversee effective implementation of new clients and effective pipeline management   - Lead generation and the sourcing of prospective clients  - Achieving targeted face to face appointments with new prospects every month   - Identifying the commercial needs of prospective clients with a view to developing appropriate solutions that provide a targeted ROI  - Retention and commercial development of existing clients  - Develop/maintain strategic business relationship with each customer by meeting with key contacts regularly, understanding their industry, specific needs, direction and also their expectations of Sabre  - Develop opportunities to increase revenue through additional services, products or productivity initiatives.  People management :  - Manage direct reports and develop individuals further to improve commercial understanding, competitor insight and product knowledge as well as increase market share  - Set and achieve Regional solution sales targets  - Full responsibility for all Business Solutions Sales Performance processes and reporting.  Sales Processes/Commercial Focus :  - Ensure all contractual obligations and performance requirements are met and resolve any related issues; Ensure contracts are managed and kept up to date  - Ensure sales CRM data base is kept up to date  - Manage local relationship with key account contacts and local management team of key accounts  - Compile business cases, product positioning papers incl. commercial strategies for allocated portfolio  - Liaise with Product Marketing team to exchange product knowledge, share learning, avoid duplication and identify/drive opportunities beneficial for our customers.  Other duties :  - Proactively manage issues/potential issues with customers and ensure appropriate and relevant internal support is in place to support customer needs  - Attendance at functions out of hours and be prepare to speak and conferences  - Ensure customer service standards are achieved within allocated territory  - Demonstrate an understanding of market trends, issues, company solutions and offerings in both formal and informal settings  - Keep current in industry knowledge and trends through various methods (e.g. readings, internal/external networking, industry meetings/conferences, etc.)  - Understand the company's competition (including practices and products) and identify the Sabre differentiators  - Apply knowledge of industry/marketplace changes and influences (e.g. new deals, mergers, alliances) to develop effective sales plans and strategies  - Build key relationships with Sabre HDQ and Sabre APAC.  Required Skills/experience/attributes :  - Minimum 8 years Technical Sales experience within a demanding corporate environment presenting to multiple client profiles from proprietors of small businesses to senior management of major corporations  - Executive level reporting and responsibilities  - Proven Team Management experience for a national or international team;  - Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously  - Previous experience preparing tenders and RFP responses  - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and time management skills  - Exceptional account management and CRM skills  - Demonstrable history of sales success from complex technical sales propositions  - Strong organizational, networking, relationship building and negotiation skills  - Proven ability to successfully market products & services  - Conflict resolution skills  - Demonstrates the importance of business partnerships and meeting the needs of partners  - Evidentiary business acumen with ability to achieve stretched targets  - Travel industry background (essential)  - Working knowledge of Sabre GDS functions and product range (desirable)  - Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel and Outlook and other relevant Sabre internal systems)  - Persists in the face of obstacles and follows up on commitments  - Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions  - Works ethically and professionally with both customers and colleagues
