What you- ll be doing : Some of the responsibilities are to :

- Provide credit risk analytics solution to support the company's consumer and commercial lending activities

- Building PD/LGD/EAD models and recommending appropriate strategic solutions keeping in mind the Risk Regulations

- Develop credit risk management and business intelligence solutions through team engagements and research

- Manage large scale projects that include vendor scores and technological implementation assessments

- Leverage customer data and transactional unstructured data to build risk segmentation and mitigation strategies

- Complete complex analyses identifying authentication strategy and procedure gaps, manage implementation process across all credit life cycles to affect change

- Work with Technology team to drive availability of relevant data, tools and infrastructure

Experience & Requirements :

- 3+ years' professional work or internship experience in credit risk modeling in banking industry in consumer or/and commercial portfolio

- Master's or PhD in statistics, mathematics or related quantitative area of study from a premier institute (IIT, IIM, IIScetc or equivalent)

- Predictive modeling experience - risk / credit models and scorecards experience preferred

- Well versed in statistical methodology

- Knowledge of US consumer lending and credit risk management practices - credit card, personal loans, mortgage lending experience ideal

- Expertise in statistical tools such as SAS, R and/or SPSS or related

- Aptitude in data manipulation languages such as SQL, Python, preferred
