Head - Innovation Hub Operations  Reliance has a vision to be amongst the most innovative companies globally.   As part of its multi-faceted innovation agenda, Reliance has embarked on a major initiative to drive and embed innovative technology solutions and resources for improving long term RIL performance. The core objective is to deliver high value and measurable impact on mainstream RIL activities by embedding venture-led innovation in assigned focus areas.  This involves GenNext Innovation Hub engaging in an - Open Innovation- program with promising start-ups from across the globe who will work with RIL Business Units (BUs) to help them be at the leading edge and further driving the culture of innovation.  Job Responsibilities :   - Study the latest technology innovation trends and build a heat-map of the key innovation areas globally (in BU specific domains)  - Engage with RIL BUs to determine current base-line capabilities and define technology capabilities  - Work along-side BU teams to define priority areas basis potential impact of technology innovation, feasibility of execution, etc. Capture early-wins and quick-impact areas that could be taken to demonstrate impact of bringing-in technology innovation  - Identify start-ups, both local and global, in these priority innovation areas and engage them on defining how they will be able to address them  - Select start-ups basis their ability to deliver on these priority innovation areas along with the BU team - through demos and face-to-face interactions  - Define terms of engagement with the selected start-ups and mutually sign-off on scope of work (SOW) and targeted impact  - Define the stage-gated process for engaging the selected start-ups along with the BU teams and set specific milestones for program execution and success metrics  - Guide and Mentor start-ups through the program delivery to ensure success of these pilots/PoCs; track & monitor program execution closely against defined milestones  - On conclusion of the program, evaluate the success metrics achieved and impact created alongside the BU Sponsor and team  - Define the forward plan for engaging the successful start-ups with the BU through strategic partnerships and strategic investments. Demonstrate sound governance and program management skills to initiate and sustain change   Educational Qualifications :  MBA from a leading business school with a technical background (i.e. Engineering). Well versed in Program Leadership and Project Management Skills  Relevant Experience :   - Strategic Advisory, Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Project Management and Implementation Experience. 10-12 years of professional experience in leading consulting firms and/or large corporates. Additionally experienced in working with/for start-ups and well connected with the start-up ecosystem in India. Entrepreneurship experience would be an added plus!
