We are having an opening Research Engineer based in Chennai.

Position: Research Engineer

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech with first class

Stream:

Mechanical/Instrumentation/Mechatronics/Manufacturing/Polymers/Metallurgy/Polymers/Metallurgy/Ceramics/Civil (Construction/Structural)/Chemical/Material science from premium Academic Institutions

REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidate should have prior Industrial Experience in R&D for a minimum of 3 years

- Should be creative with independent thinking to develop concepts and support Research for existing projects and new business

Job Role:

- Conducts research and development related to new product developments and process improvements in the related business segment.

- Identification and implementation of new products and the modification of current products to meet customer needs and/or cost reductions

- Methodical and organized with demonstrated experience in product and application development

- Responsible for understanding company business and technology strategies and executing these strategies

- Developing experimental approaches and testing new concepts to ensure continuous improvement of products and processes to help the business

- Develop lab scale mimic tools or pertinent analytical techniques to quantify the product attributes or underlying phenomena.

- Responsible for creating and maintaining a vibrant idea vault for the project and demonstrate aggressive IP protection attitude for new developments.
