VP / Director Engineering  As our VP / Director of Engineering, you will work closely with core team to build a world-class technology function. This would include hiring top talent, mentoring and motivating your team, executing against the technology roadmap, and rolling out features users love. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail oriented with experience working in a fast-pace software development environment.  Responsibilities  - Leading full-stack team of developers (Across Android, iOS, Front-end and Back-end), who are passionate about disrupting the industry.  - Fostering a culture of innovation.  - Mentoring team members, and ensuring that they are learning and growing with the company.  - Ensure software engineering lifecycle best practices are followed.  - Closely monitor and guide product releases and updates.  - Attract and retain top engineering talent.  - Help set the strategic agenda for the technology team.  - Translating this agenda into an actionable product/tech roadmap.  - Own end-to-end availability and performance of Rentomojo's services.  Requirements  - 6+ years of experience at cutting edge organizations or startups.  - Prior experience in leading large engineering teams (20+).  - Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.  - Experience in ensuring engineering best practices (code reviews, testing, service-oriented architecture etc.).  Who are we-   Rentomojo is one of India's fastest growing startups.
