Release Manager - IT

Currently we are hiring Release Managers for our tier 1 IT client. Below is the JD for the same.

Location: Bangalore

Career Level: Manager

Experience: 8-12 years

Release Manager:

- Candidate should have atleast 7+ years of experience in the IT industry.

- Should have at least 2 + experience working in the release management space for large complex multi-year IT initiatives and programs

- Tracks and understands compatibility between various product releases and patches and its underlying platform.

- Manages configuration of the product and implements upgrades and patches to various customers

- Gatekeeper: “holds the keys” to production systems/applications and takes responsibility for their implementations

- Coordinator: utilized to coordinate disparate source trees, projects, teams and components.

- This person essentially acts as a "program manager" of a set of projects slated to come together in the release of a software system.
