Position Title : DGM-Marcom  Department : Sales & Marketing  Work Location : Delhi   Grade : M5/M6 Travel Required: Yes(25%)  Reporting to : Administrative: Reported by: Manager/Sr Manager  Functional : GM-Marketing   Educational Qualification : Graduate ( MBA Preferred)  Experience : 12-15 years Experience with a background in brand management; In-depth knowledge of media and analyst space in retail industry preferably in FMCG,Consumer Durables etc.  Any additional requirement :   Purpose of the Position (Job Summary) :   Lead the Marketing Communications function to develop and drive the marketing communication strategy, develop and drive the brand strategy. Drive engagement with Media and Analysts,   Key Roles and Responsibilities :   Financial :  - Develop and deliver a corporate branding strategy; Drive the development and promotion of Relaxo brand, image and identity using communication channels such as new media, social media etc.; Drive development of corporate image guidelines to ensure consistency in internal and external communication.  - Prepare the Annual Plan for the Marketing Communication function on the basis of defined Corporate Strategy and launches as per the timelines shared by Product, Sales and Marketing; Determine the key focus areas for the year.  - Prepare annual budget on the basis of the Communication Plan; Undertake planning, forecasting and tracking of expenditures within the budget allotted; Monitor budgets and take corrective actions in case of discrepancies  - Review performance against communication strategy and discuss course corrections basis internal/external audience feedback.  Customer Orientation :  - Lead and deliver on the communication strategy including aspects such as key messaging, communication channels and target audience;  - Develop the messaging and media presentation; Developing the other supporting documents such as FAQs, briefing documents etc.; Drive the media training for all spokespersons and brief them on the corporate messaging; Develop and repackage the BU/product specific communication to maintain consistency with the overall company  - Develop and deliver a coherent media and analyst relations strategy; Act as a spokesperson for external communication; Build key relationships in g media (Print, TV, Online and Analyst space); Conduct regular briefings for the analysts to inform them about the on going company events; Analyse Media landscape, identify and expand global database, track competitor activities and critically evaluate media and analyst reports.  People Orientation :  - Regularly review team purpose, direction and structure and assess talent requirements; participate in the recruitment and selection process; conduct goal setting and performance review for the team; drive team development, engagement and reward initiatives; coach and mentor team members as required and ensure resolution of any people issues  Internal Business Process :  - Prepare & Present MIS on Budget (Planned Vs Actual)  - Track - POP/ POSM execution  - Align Trade Marketing Team for Sales support  Competencies :  - Technical/Functional Leadership  - ATL & BTL Skills  - Digital Marketing  - Corporate Communications  - Media Planning - Business Acumen  - Adaptability  - Leading Others  - Developing Others  - Leadership Presence  - Planning and Organizing  - Result Orientation  - Collaboration  Key Result Areas :   Quantitative Qualitative :   - Annual Budget Planning and Execution  - Adherence to ATL/BTL Activity Plan  - Adherence to Digital marketing Plan/ Timelines  - Team Attrition   - Quality of Brand Campaign   - Smooth Execution  Key Stakeholder Management :  Internal External :   - Regional Sales teams  - Marketing  - NPD  - Production Planning & Logistics   - Media Agecny   - Media Buyers  - Retailers  Ram Krishn AGM- Sales HRBP
