While purchasing managers have traditionally focused on finding the lowest-cost suppliers, strategic purchasing managers consider all aspects of their relationship with suppliers, including quality, value and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements. They aim to select suppliers that can act as long-term partners and help the company meet its growth objectives.  Deliverables:   1. Identifying and Setting up efficient sourcing practices across the South Asia region.  2. Manages the exploration, evaluation and development of an effective sourcing market for appropriate products (South Asia holistically plus select categories in the Middle East)  3. Development of materials/ alternative materials  4. Assist in new product development  5. Sourcing Business Developer will   a) Lead Mapping, short listing & introduction of new suppliers based on Business needs  b) Or opportunities identified For new / existing business areas   6. Negotiate with suppliers according to organization values and guide lines.  7. Evaluate production capacities  8. Experience of Material & manufacturing processes.  9.
