Job Description:
- Presales professional with at least 8 years relevant experience and currently at Operations Manager or Team Manager Level, preferable from SCM logsitics or shipping background
- Strong Process and people leadership skills
- Ability to forge strong relationship and partnership with senior level stakeholders in clusters
- Large scale improvement (standardization and process capability) implementation experience
- Natural skill on verbal and written communication across all level of organization
- Transformation mindset
- Regular Graduation is must
- Flexible to shifts
Work location: Powai, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Pre Sales & Contracting execution process for (within scope) Regions meets agreed SLA
- Ensure adherence to Standard SOP and business rules.
- Promote L1 & L2 engagement with clusters to ensure relationship building and spirit of 'one team'.
- Personally lead company process L3 call representing sales process towards cluster sales management.
- Represent sales execution at L4 calls.
- Ensure various business issues are addressed through joint improvement initiatives with the cluster with strong personal sponsorship.
- Ensure high quality service delivered to our business
- Ensure process delivery is standardized and simplified with predictable performance and capable of contributing positively to business goal.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in team along with that of learning and replication of good practices.
- Ensure standardized best practice adaptation and dissemination from other sites and business units
- Ensure process executed in optimum fashion with maximum utilization of resources (FTE, machine, infrastructure, time and intellect).
- Keep continuous focus on productivity by reduction of human effort, standardization, automation and waste removal from execution.
- Keep constant focus on cost drivers such as leader span, capacity utilization, travel and training cost etc.
- Ensure consistent achievement of targets on E2E and direct business impacting measurement in collaboration with GSC sales BPO.
- Ensure right people are hired with right capability and potential in the team for specific roles.
- Ensure people with right capability and coached and trained to take up expanded role in future
- Motivate, reward and recognize talents in the team for retention.
- Create robust succession planning.
The Department:
- The Sales, TNM, Analytics & Disputes group in the company, includes various processes from these functions. Some key business processes of STAD are Pre-Sales Quote and Tendering, Contracting, Demurrage & Detention, Trade and Marketing, Disputes, Advanced Analytics, Technology Support and Business Intelligence.
