The role is with a Global Sports Equipment Company looking to expand operations in India. They have a very strong presence through their distributor. This RSM role will manage their West India Operations reporting to the regional Director based in Malaysia.  The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing sales generation for the region in the Hospitality, Property Development/ Real Estate and health club segments.  - Meet prospective clients, develop new accounts, generate new business and build long term relationships  - Manage and noticeably grow business share from existing clients   - Create and execute on detailed sales plan to achieve revenue objectives  - Maintain monthly forecast and sales pipeline  - Develop and maintain close working relationships with appropriate internal and external resources and partners.   - Participate in account planning and strategy activity  - Manage the organizations budget  - Support distributor in India through sales training - theory, psychology and technique based as well as product based   - Articulate appropriately at all customers levels for products features and benefits   - Maintain high level of knowledge on products, roadmaps, competition, pricing, market share, and key product differentiation.  - Minimum 5 years experience in B2B/commercial sales, an interest in health and fitness would be an advantage   - Strong organizational skills   - Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope   - Exercises significant independent judgment to achieve objectives   - Ability to stay focused on goals and objectives  - Ability to operate and make decisions in complex environment   - Ability to operate with minimal tactical direction   - Self-motivated, competitive and goal oriented  - High energy drive to close business and exceed assigned sales goals   - Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills  - Strong Business development skills to open up new account opportunities   - Sound understanding of technology, i.e. software, apps, Apple & Samsung style products   - Ability to track leads and grow business in the Hospitality, Property Development/Real Estate and health club segments   - Individual contributor role, work from home set up to be based in Mumbai   - Excellent communication skills in English
