My client is a startup focused on building India's first online platform for the B2B Segment. They intend to solve the friction between the retailers and producers by getting them online with distributors to ensure speedy delivery along with supporting credit lines. Think of it as India's answer to Alibaba.

- The management team is made of senior leader from India's top eCommerce companies. They are at a product launch stage and seed-funded.

- They are scouting for an energetic professional to build the sale steam from an FMCG background.

- Head and manage the overall sales strategy and policy in the various channels and in terms of major customers by grasping target or category opportunities in line with Annual Business Plan (ABP).

- Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company's products and services across the region to achieve or exceed the sales targets.

- To direct the Sales team and establish sales targets brand wise, pack wise as per ABP, help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly & daily targets.

- Help business head in developing long term pricing strategy to maximize variable margin through product/ territory/ pack mix decisions.

- Responsible To Analyse And Action The Plans With ASMs And RSMs And Get Things Done.

- Implement The Company's Sales Process To Establish A Culture Of Consultative Selling To Customer's Decision-Makers At All Levels.

- Select, Develop, And Coach A Professional Sales Team To Meet Specific Goals For Profitable Revenue Growth.

- Involved in Establishing The Retail Division, Effective Business Relationships With Executive Decision Makers In Large Accounts.

- Pursue Identified Business Prospects, Participating Actively In The Planning And Sales Process For New Business Opportunities.

- Collaborate With Marketing Resources And The Sales Leadership Team To Define Overall Sales Strategy, And To Develop Products And Solutions Responsive To The Customer's Business. Apply Research Insights And To Provide Compelling Advertising Solutions Based On The Company's Business Strengths.

Desired profile :

- MBA From Premier College

- 10-12 Years Min Experience majorly worked with FMCG industry.

- Should possess entrepreneurial skills.

- Consultative Selling Skills.

- Ability To Understand And Apply Market Intelligence To Sales Strategy.

- High Level Of Financial And Business Acumen.

- Staff Consulting And Relationship Building Skills.

- Ability To Use Technology And Analysis Tools (Excel, Outlook, Web, Databases).

- Executive Presence To Influence Senior Decision-Makers.

- Knowledge Of Advertising Industry.

- Minimum Of Ten Years Of Business To Business Sales Experience Is Required, With At Least Five Years Of Sales Management Experience For Global, National, Or Key Strategic Account Business.
