For a Sr HR role with a top Consumer goods organisation I need an HR generalist with 10 - 15 years of experience (ONLY MALE CANDIDATES)
Role Summary
Responsible for HR & Administration function in the region. As a critical member of the regional business team, this position has a direct impact on the success of our sales and retail operations. The role holder would be the custodian for people practices in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities for continuing business success in conjunction with regional business leaders and Corporate HR.
- Deploy key people processes across the region through interface with business managers and in alignment with Corporate HR
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining key data metrics pertaining to the employee base and periodically reporting the same to Corporate HR as required
- Support business in forecasting and planning talent requirements in line with the function/business strategy
- Drive talent acquisition for retail and other roles in region; and ensure quality of hire and adherence to recruitment timelines, processes and standards
- Manage personnel administration (activities relating to the employee life-cycle) and welfare activities for the region
- Ensure statutory compliance in the region with respect to labour and related laws
- Accountable for investigation into and resolution of all grievances and ethical concerns within timelines
- Drive HR / corporate interventions as and when required
- Process owner for all employee engagement initiatives in the region
- Identify and implement practices to improve employee morale and motivation in the region. Be the point person for all employee concerns in the region.
- Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns through frequent visits and interactions with employees at all locations and stores
- Support HR requirements for franchisee employees as identified by business needs
- Oversee administration function in the region – including Travel Desk, Guest House, Housekeeping and Security functions

- Ensuring statutory compliance in the region
- Employee engagement in the region
- Implementation of all HR processes and corporate driven initiatives in the region in compliance with process timelines and standards
- Smooth and proactive functioning of the administration function in the region
Desired qualifications, skills and experience
- Post Graduate in HRM from a reputed institute
- Around 10-15 years of work experience in HR function. Experience in HR operations/sales HR/regional HR roles in FMCG, Retail, Telecom, Food and Hospitality sectors would be preferred
- Good conceptual clarity
- Proven operational experience and ability
- Ability to work in a matrix structure and handle multiple stakeholders
- Ability to establish trust and a reputation for discretion, sound judgment and advice
- Capacity to effectively initiate relationships and build rapport with senior leadership
- Ability to lead and provide direction to a team
- High energy levels and willingness to travel extensively
