Regional Head - IT Sales

Role : Regional Head - Business Development (Mumbai and NCR)

Job Responsibilities :

- Identifying and prospect for new clients in Banking, Education and Govt. sector by persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to adopt our solution. Track the existence of a strong pipe line of potential customers.

- Closely work with delivery and operational heads for effective handling pre-sales activities and post-sales support. Exhibit strong execution capabilities in making effective presentations and pitches to close sales and build long lasting client relationships.

- Build and nurture strong sales channel, distribution and infuencer network 4. Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational sales and distribution as well as marketing activities for the region.

- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the company`s ambitious growth

- Provide leadership to the regional sales team and groom the second line

- Provide market feedback to the management team regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, technological changes and also help generate product development ideas.

- Strong relationship management capabilities

- Passion to learn, deliver and grow

- Persistence in follow-up and execution focus 4. Team leadership skills

- Proficiency in verbal and written communication

- Problem solving and analytical abilities with sharp business acumen E

Experience :

- 2 plus years of experience in direct sales, distribution and marketing preferably selling IT products or solution to educational institutions/government departments/banking sector.

- Experience in the procurement process of educational and government and related statutory regulations and procedures is a requirement. Should have handled processes involving Tender / RFP / Pre bid meetings / Tender responses till closure.

- Technical knowledge (software and hardware solutions) will be an added advantage. 4. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required while Lotus Notes and CRM software understanding would be a plus.
