Role : Regional Head - Bancassurance - Life Insurance
Designation : AVP
Reportees : Team Of Managers & Fos Across The Region.
Location : Mumbai
CTC :15 to 19 LPA (Approx) ; depending upon last drawn CTC, total experience, business volume, interview status.
Job purpose :
- Nurture and grow franchisee allocated with support of team of direct reportees .
- Key objective being growth in New Business and retaining existing business while ensuring adherence to quality standards and process, policies and defined guidelines.
- Would be responsible for sales in the territory as a Regional Head and drive the company's sales strategy through Branches mapped to Region. Implement key business development initiatives in the territory under purview to achieve AOP & Retention targets.
- Drive Sales basis product mix to ensure profitability, ensure all business expenses and employee costs are within budgets as approved and in line with business performance to maintain desired Cost Income ratios.
- The job holder would also need to enhance customer convenience and improve productivity of channels by exceeding expectations and service standards
- Relationship Management & regular engagement with channel Regional Heads, Branch Managers and Leadership teams to support sales growth. The job holder needs to constantly source, develop and grow distributor relationships in a highly competitive market.
Financials :
- Would be responsible for sales in the territory and drive the company's sales strategy through dedicated field resources attached to HUB, implement key business development initiatives in the territory under purview to achieve targets
- Drive Sales basis product mix to ensure profitability (C) Ensure all business expenses and employee costs are within budgets as approved and in line with the desired Cost Income ratios
Customer/Stake Holders :
- Enhance Customer convenience and improve productivity of channels by exceeding expectations and service standards
- Relationship Management & regular engagement with channel Regional Heads/Branch Managers/Leadership teams to support sales growth
- Understand & co-ordinate training requirements for channel, including licensing requirement for SPs' within agreed timeline (
- Closely track pendencies and circulate MIS, which flags off procedural delays to Internal Operations / Channel leadership in order to reduce Issuance TATs
- Proactively keep channel abreast with information on Internal (Product / Process) and External (Industry and Regulatory) changes / practices/Customer Persistency/Customer Complaints/FTRs
Leadership/Team Work :
- Proactively identify the Training/Skills development needs of individual RMs within the team & chalk out action plans for specific Coaching/Training schedule
- Keep self and Team updated on all new and existing products of Sales Process/Underwriting norms/Compliance guidelines
- Create an environment of ongoing personal, team learning and development, by being a Coach & Mentor and effectively building upon individual strengths
- Help ZSM with Market intelligence and Bench-marking activities
- Staff Hiring and Engagement - Manage alignment between functions in the respective HUBs.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
- To ensure Regulatory and Internal business compliance guidelines in all JV processes and external dealings to protect JV and Share Holder interests
- Be able to identify control deficiencies and develop or revise policies and procedures to mitigate potential loss and deliver business results efficiently within approved budgets
- Be able to utilize appropriate systems to facilitate faster processing of Insurance applications and various other financial transactions related to Sales and increase productivity.
Industry : Insurance( preferred ) / Banking, Relevant profiles only, currently handling a team.
- Experience in an Insurance Distribution (Banca / Direct Sales) or Retail Wealth Management setup.
- Localites preferred, but candidates willing to relocate are also welcome.
