Background industry preference:
- Non-media professional with a sound understanding of handling a P&L.
- Has to have worked in Tier 2 / Tier 3 cities (Non Metros) in his formative or professional years & can relate with the demographic of smaller towns
- FMCG - B2B / Hospitality / Insurance / Retail / Telecom
- Multi industry experience would be preferred
Role:
- Responsible for Maharashtra State and at least 2 M & A business units which would get added in the near future.
- As P&L Head for three businesses, will be responsible for top and bottom line growth
- Strategizing on enhancing the sales revenues and looking on growing the Advertising revenue pie through alternate opportunities.
- Controlling and reducing operating cost
- People management and development
- Active member of the core committee to make 5 year operating plans for the print business
- Onus of communication the DBCL’s vision and mission internally as well as externally

The role is equivalent to the role of an Operations Director in a telecom
Experience / Background:
- The incumbent shall be the Profit Centre Head for a large regionwho has handled SBUs or profit centers as Head of Business of approxRs. 400-600 + Crores & has worked with diverse people segments.
