In this role, you will passionately promote the adoption of our cloud software technologies solution in key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You'll work with key customers both on-site and remotely to build a relationship of trust and confidence between Red Hat and the customer's engineering, development, and operations teams. We'll need you to gain an understanding of the customer's business needs, and align those needs with the capabilities of our solutions. As a Cloud Product Specialist, you will also play a crucial role in bringing together internal, cross-functional teams to satisfy our most challenging customers. You'll serve as the customer's advocate with these teams to architect the best solution and ensure they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.  Primary job responsibilities :   - Lead successful cloud software technologies and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform workshops for small to medium teams with both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence the customer's use cases and architecture design decisions   - Scope evaluations and guide customers through successful proofs of concepts and pilot deployments   - Work closely with internal product teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services, Support, and Sales teams to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat's solutions  - Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale our services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk   - Create whitepapers, webinars, etc., and speak at industry-leading conferences   - Design, create, and deliver content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support our cloud solutions at scale   Required skills :   - 8+ years of experience in a solutions architect, enterprise architect, or consulting delivery role, with 4+ of those years focused on cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures   - Solid background in consultative customer engagement with a major professional services organization or within the services division of a major software company   - Track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives   - Extensive technical experience with virtualization and cloud technologies, e.g. Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV), VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer   - Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms   - Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services   - Ability to work seamlessly with distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers   - Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills   - Experience across one or more vertical industry areas is preferred  - An exposure to building or architecting any OpenStack cloud is an advantage  - Willingness to travel up to 70%
