Reckitt Benckiser - Demand Planning Manager

We at RB are looking for Demand Planning Lead. The role holder works with the Brand, Customer Marketing, Regional Sales teams to arrive at the consensus forecast for the enterprise. The role holder interacts closely with the finance to identify the gaps against the financial / business plan of the company & works along with Supply / Brand / Customer Marketing on GAP Management. The role holder works closely with the supply teams to ensure the Inventory targets are delivered

Responsibilities:


- Responsible for managing the consensus enterprise forecast for the company

- Statistical forecasting using the Manugistics Demand Planning Module

- Coordination of monthly demand planning meetings with Sales, Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Manufacturing

- Lead the S&OP Process & ensure 100% adherence to the process

- Responsible for rolling up of the financial plan & business plan

- Evaluation of consumer and trade promotion activities to establish meaningful projections of future promotions

- Contribution to the implementation of new processes and systems tools related to demand planning

- Represent the Supply Services team in the Sales Marketing review Meetings & Implement the decisions taken on Marketing / Sales activities in forward consensus demand

- Lead the GAP Management process against the Plan numbers, highlight the business risk / opportunity to the management committee & implement the executive decision on time

- Responsible for reduction of Slow Moving inventory & follow up with brand / sales for timely liquidation

- Responsible for Commercial inventory variance related to RM / PM of NPD & product expiry

- Work along with the Brand & supply excellence team on NPD Ordering / MOQ

- Thorough management of Excess and Obsolete stocks

- Drive the Rough Cut Capacity Planning process (RCCP) along with Brand / Supply planner & highlight the constraints & Corrective action to the Management committee

- Drive the complexity reduction & SKU Rationalization agenda for RB India

- Support the Master Management Process with right product Hierarchy

- Drive the usage of S&OP Tool (SAP IBP / HANA) & Process improvement projects


Professional Attributes:


- MBA in Supply chain / Operations Management

- 7 to 10 years of Work Experience in similar role

- Strong analytical skills: ability to define problems, collect details data, analyze and interpret results and recommend changes and improvements

- Ability to Influence without authority

- Good level of communication ability and persuasion skills

- Solution oriented approach and entrepreneurial/ self-motivated approach
