We at RB are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager. The Assistant Brand Manager will work with the Brand Manager to implement the annual brand plan, being specifically responsible for:   - Leading the execution of specific projects in the context of category strategy to drive sales and profit growth.   - Monitoring and analyse key brand dynamics as the source of new insights, competitive strategies and effective portfolio management   - Supporting the development of effective category management initiatives with local sales organisation   - Delivering a product development programme to generate consistent sales and profit growth    Scope/Dimensions of the Role  The position resides within the country marketing function and covers key elements of country brand marketing activities - this is an entry level position and is intended with close supervision and through projects and delegated responsibilities on a brand provides exposure and development to the essential areas of the marketing mix and marketing competencies.    Responsibilities  - To lead EPD, line extension and promotional pack projects to drive sales and profit growth   - To lead and champion all in-store brand initiatives in the context of the agreed brand strategy. This should include:   - Development, implementation and refinement of the in-store demonstration programme.   - Development and implementation of materials to drive in-store visibility e.g. point of sale, shippers, displays   - Working with the category team and Sales to ensure brand promotional guidelines are planned and executed in-store and maintaining current knowledge of promotional plans by account   - Producing timely analysis of major promotions and events and ensuring learnings are captured and fed back into the brand plan   - To monitor and analyse brand and competitor performance to identify and outline strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and to recommend business building/defence initiatives.   - To provide data and analytical support to the Brand Manager   - To lead the brand's PR programme (if relevant)   - To lead and manage existing or ongoing consumer targeting programmes e.g. sampling/leafleting initiatives   - To produce a one page summary of market research learnings and to assist in the preparation of consumer research projects   - To maintain the Brand Bible   We are looking for individuals who are CREATIVE, ENTREPRENEURIAL, PASSIONATE and willing to CHANGE THE GAME.    Professional Attributes  - MBA in Sales & Marketing from premium B School in India or abroad   - 2-3 years of work experience with minimum one year in marketing/brand management.   Personal Attributes  - Track record of delivery, goal oriented along with ability to sets clear priorities and meets deadlines.  - Positive, initiative driven, motivating and a natural leader  - Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated  - Strong commercial awareness with an international outlook  - Ambitious and flexible  - Excellent communication and presentation skills   - Good financial skills and P&L understanding; resilient and able to perform under pressure   About RB  RB is different: 'good enough' isn't good enough here.   RB is the world's leading consumer health and hygiene company, with sales in nearly 200 countries and operations in over 60 countries.
