Cluster Head - Delhi & Rajasthan is a dual responsibility role. The incumbent will be performing the duties of a Station Head role for Delhi, with added responsibility of leading 2-3 other stations in the cluster viz. Jaipur, Jodhpur & T3 Airport Radio. The Heads of these locations will be reporting into Cluster Head - Delhi.

Primary Responsibilities as a Station Head for Delhi

1. Managing existing operations, launch and scaling up of new stations as needed

2. Revenue Growth

a. Achieving revenue targets set for station & cluster. Responsible for revenue for both Radio Sales and Mirchi Activations (events)

b. Responsible for delegation of targets, & Business Planning

3. Growth in listenership

a. Overall responsibility of all that goes on air

b. Building radio as a category both at listener and advertiser level

c. Keeping a tab of listenership reports like the IRS / RAM / IPSOS

4. People Responsibilities

a. Be part of the recruiting process for hiring new talent for the station

b. Monitoring and assessing performance and productivity of all team members reporting into the role

c. Training, developing and guiding team members reporting into the role

d. Responsibility for overall attrition & Retention of Key Talent of the station

e. Responsibility of overall safety and security of the team members

Primary Responsibilities as a Cluster Head:

1. Ensure that the topline and the bottomline targets of the Cluster are achieved

a. Ensure implementation of systems and procedures as formalized by corporate

b. Manage the regulatory environment and ensure timely escalation of issues pertaining to regulatory / human resources etc. to the corporate office

2. Growth in listenership for the Cluster

3. Continuously scan the markets for new opportunities and formulate strategies, explore new business avenues and new markets for radio

4. Plan pricing, costs and revenues for new markets

5. Develop entry strategy for all new stations including format, pricing, market potential assessment, revenue projections for 3 years etc.

Other Responsibilities:

1. To build the image of the Radio Station through planned PR interventions and relationship with other media and media houses in the city

2. To ensure that the technical equipment and infrastructure of each station is managed and maintained

3. To ensure smooth functions between different departments

4. To ensure audit compliance of the stations (internal as well as external audits)

5. To formulate strategies, explore new business avenues and new markets for radio

6. To monitor local print media

7. To gather business intelligence on competition
