VP Operations is responsible for ensuring top-notch market operational delivery high performance, driving growth, and building quality delivery network that will encompass various cities. The VP bears tremendous responsibility, and it is a rare individual that possesses the diverse mix of skills and experiences required to fill the role.   To be a stellar VP Ops, you must possess a combination of analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and grit. You must be highly driven, but also a team-player. You must be a hands-on and results-oriented person, excited about the idea of Quickli, and willing to learn and work the roles of all those who work for you. No job is too big or too small.   Responsibilities :   - Oversee combined P&L for Quickli operations in multiple cities; project costs and engage in pricing decisions   - Deliver a data driven world class operations experience in every city we provide deliveries in   - Use data to identify opportunities to improve delivery quality for the merchants and to build a strong, satisfied network of riders   - Continual contribution to improvement of internal operations processes   - Facilitate growth: integrate new cities, and plan zone expansions   - Hire, train, mentor, and track the progress of operations team members   - Create and communicate demand side initiatives in your region   - Suggest and trial improvements to Quickli digital infrastructure   What you'll Need :   - 5+ years of high-achievement in an operations management role (or similar), preferably in startups or high-tech combined with prior management experience   - Engineering degree or Management degree from a top tier school - IIM/ISB/IIT/NIT/BITS   - Experience managing a P&L, and setting strategic objectives   Problem solving ability : able to rapidly identify opportunities for improvement, locate key levers to effect change, and develop practical implementation plans   Analytical chops : excellent excel skills, with database-proficiency a plus, the ability to tell a story and implement improvements that are data driven are a must   - Ability to communicate logically and succinctly to diverse audiences   - Stay Calm and focused under pressure   - Willingness to travel 20%, work on some weekends   - Ability to inspire and motivate your team and the city fleets   What we can offer :   - The rare opportunity to disrupt the world such that everyone around you is using the product you built; an opportunity to reinvent deliveries.   - Opportunity to be part of the strategic team of the company   - Equity and Competitive salary   - A fulfilling, challenging adventure of a work experience   - Sharp, motivated co-workers in a fun office environment
