Our client is an MNC into Manufacturing of Industrial Thread & Textile Accessories

Position - Quality Manager

Location - Bangalore

Work Exp -

4 to 6 years of experience in QA role in a medium to large scale is preferred with SAP exposure.

SAP QM consultants with the current QA job can be considered

Qualification -

Engineering background with SAP QM certified / trained - Textile technology background or from textile yarn spinning mills / textile mills preferred.

Data Analytics skill set in Power BI / Tableau / Exposure to PLM would be an added advantage with the existing QA role.

Engineering degree from top notch textile institute like IIT preferred.

B Tech / M Tech in Textile Technology from IIT Delhi (2008- 2011 Batch) or from Anna University, VJTI Mumbai, SKJTI Bangalore preferred.

Job Details -

To coordinate and implement SAP QM Modules Inspection, Vendor Management, Customer Complaints and Product Specifications

To coordinate and respond to New Product Management / Product Lifecycle Management requests raised by global teams

To review quality standards and suggest or modify the standards on a periodical basis

To review customer complaints and initiate corrective and preventive action with the QA team

To establish FMEA analysis for serious complaints

To coordinate and collate data on various quality initiatives and prepare meaningful reports on a monthly / weekly basis

To alert QA on product deviations

To analyse weekly Failure report from SAP Inspection and initiate corrective actions

To coordinate and deliver Product development samples

To coordinate with the manufacturing team and work on improved process

To coordinate with external suppliers and develop new products

To actively participate in new product development and innovation initiatives

To update SAP QM records on regular basis and to maintain product specifications

To conduct review meetings with QA team across manufacturing sites and help them to achieve quality targets

To maintain and publish SOP and Quality Specs in Sharepoint or similar database

To coordinate and communicate new developments with sales and marketing team

To conduct training programs on products

To coordinate with manufacturing team and work on new projects

Other Details -

Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, drive and energy is required. Excellent communication skills in English is required to conduct global meetings via Skype and other online platforms.
