At times this may involve directing the resolution of complex problems at a site level that have impact beyond HR itself.  - As the Site HR lead, it is imperative that the incumbent have superior communication abilities which includes both verbal as well as written communication skills, the ability to build and manage relationships and the ability to influence change.  - The incumbent is expected to implement and monitor daily HR operations, including legal compliance's from  an HR perspective the site and should be able to resolve day-to-day issues using well-defined or at times generally defined processes.  - As the Site HR lead, the incumbent should be able to exercise judgment within HR policies, principles behind these policies or practices; leverage these broad guidelines and assist in the development or and execution of the strategic objectives of HR and the site; Incumbent is expected to recommend modifications to operating policies based on industry best practices, organizational needs and/or legal requirements prevailing in the country. Such interactions will require the ability to influence management buy-in.  - The impact of this role will be reviewed and measured not only based on meeting functional area's objectives, schedules and impact to the business but more importantly geared towards strategic development of the site. The incumbent is therefore expected to participate and effectively contribute in the planning process, by interpreting business strategies, establishing strategic plans and objectives for the HR function as it relates to the site.  - Work with managers to resolve interpersonal conflicts as may arise in the team; Counsel and coach employees/managers as needed on career related matters; Interact with employees on a regular basis to understand concerns and highlight those to the Sr. Management/ HR Leadership with the goal of implementing corrective action.  - Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships across the site. This is key for successful execution in this role. As the generalist lead for the location, it is expected that the incumbent will build partnerships with specialist functions so as to leverage their capability in the delivery of HR services and products  Educational Requirements: Master's degree in Human Resources or equivalent from a premier institution
